This is a selection of songs which show the musical and cultural diversity of the Loop Recordings Aot(ear)oa catalogue. Over the last 20 years, Loop has focussed on a uniquely South Pacific sound, nurturing an amazing roster of artists from Aotearoa, New Zealand.

3. Troy Kingi - Te Wai Nō Rua Whetū / Aztechknowledgey
Taken from ‘Kono 003’ compilation, ‘Te Wai Nō Rua Whetū’ is a new imagining of ‘Aztechknowledgey’ sung in te reo. Original appears on the album ‘Shake That Skinny Ass All The Way To Zygertron’

This perfectly captures the indie-pop sound of this young kiwi rock band. From their debut album ‘The Novel’
6. Fly My Pretties - Take It From Me (Live at The Isaac Theatre Royal)
Bailey Wiley brings her track to the collaborative ensemble Fly My Pretties, with stunning backing vocals from Ria Hall, Anna Coddington & Mara TK.
7. Tipene - Freedom
A reflection on education in a post-colonial society versus indigenous knowledge, passed down by Tipuna (ancestors).
