Au Nigeria, avec un march\u00e9 local de 100 millions de consommateurs, les sponsors sont les compagnies de t\u00e9l\u00e9phonie mobile qui permettent aux stars de faire leurs tourn\u00e9es en jet priv\u00e9 apr\u00e8s avoir n\u00e9goci\u00e9 un contrat \u00e0 plusieurs millions de dollars\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Ce qui marche aujourd\u2019hui en Afrique - a fortiori anglophone - c\u2019est le marketing de la modernit\u00e9; \u00e0 rebours d\u2019une authenticit\u00e9 <em>world<\/em>, le business privil\u00e9gie l\u2019urbain entre minibus Volkswagen bond\u00e9s et Lamborghini. Les musiques africaines sont parmi \u00ab&nbsp;<em>les plus influentes dans le monde mais ne repr\u00e9sentent que 2% du march\u00e9 mondial&nbsp;<\/em>\u00bb, souligne Alexandre Deniot. M\u00eame si le leadership du Nigeria a fait l\u2019effet d\u2019une d\u00e9ferlante, bon nombre de maillons de la cha\u00eene de valeur font encore d\u00e9faut en Afrique et pr\u00e9carisent le secteur: manque de circulation d\u2019informations entre r\u00e9gions, manque de mutualisation entre \u00e9v\u00e9nements, manque de structuration (ex: soci\u00e9t\u00e9s de droits d\u2019auteur) et surtout manque de financements&nbsp;gouvernementaux ou priv\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Antoine Monin, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de Spotify France, postule qu\u2019avec le streaming \u00ab<em>&nbsp;le pouvoir est en train de se r\u00e9\u00e9quilibrer entre les parties prenantes<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb: la <em>soft regulation<\/em>. On en oublierait presque les disparit\u00e9s gigantesques de l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019information sur le continent - tout le monde ne poss\u00e8de pas un smartphone - le monopole mainstream op\u00e9r\u00e9 par les agr\u00e9gateurs, les abus du piratage, du t\u00e9l\u00e9chargement gratuit et l\u2019absence significative de mon\u00e9tisation des flux digitaux en Afrique. En effet, sur YouTube comme sur Spotify, aucune r\u00e9glementation juridique en Afrique ne contraint les plateformes \u00e0 r\u00e9mun\u00e9rer les vues ou les temps d\u2019\u00e9coute; \u00e0 voir si le boom r\u00e9cent des <span class=\"caps\">NFT<\/span> pourrait conduire, par la vente d\u2019oeuvres virtuelles, \u00e0 un gain financier significatif pour les artistes africains.<\/p>\n<p>La probl\u00e9matique des mobilit\u00e9s internationales est un autre d\u00e9fi majeur: qui dit mobilit\u00e9 Nord\/Sud dit proc\u00e9dure harassante de visa - sans garantie d\u2019obtention - tandis que le prix des vols intercontinentaux est exorbitant: 30 min Bamako-Dakar = 700 euros\u2026ce qui freine consid\u00e9rablement les tourn\u00e9es ou les r\u00e9sidences de cr\u00e9ation entre pays africains.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Strat\u00e9gies d\u2019espoir<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Face \u00e0 l\u2019absence de visibilit\u00e9 des musiques africaines sur les multinationales de streaming, de multiples plateformes nationales \u00e9mergent: iRocking, Baziks, Waw Muzik, Deedo, Spinlet, Boomplay, Songa, Mdundo ou encore la GongBox cr\u00e9\u00e9e par Black Coffee.<\/p>\n<p>Dot\u00e9s de la m\u00eame intention de promouvoir les musiques locales et les sc\u00e8nes \u00e9mergentes du continent, ne cessent de se cr\u00e9er des salons professionnels sur le sol africain.
