Plusieurs th\u00e9ories sont \u00e0 l\u2019\u0153uvre\u2026 Il y a d\u2019abord ceux que l\u2019Histoire a \u00e9clips\u00e9s comme Les Surfs, groupe y\u00e9-y\u00e9 malgache qui joua avec The Supremes, les Rolling Stones ou encore Stevie Wonder.<\/p>\n<iframe title=\"Les Surfs   (A present tu peux t'en aller)\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/VPuehiEzl-k?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Malheureusement, et comme le style l\u2019obligeait, la majorit\u00e9 du r\u00e9pertoire \u00e9tait compos\u00e9e d\u2019adaptations fran\u00e7aises de hits anglo-saxons\u2026 Leur origine fut donc minor\u00e9e, autant que leur dimension exotique n\u2019a jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 musicalement exploit\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Idem pour les grands jazzmans malgaches comme R\u00e9gis Gizavo, condamn\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019exode. \u00ab&nbsp;<em>Vivre de sa musique \u00e0 Madagascar, c\u2019est mourir \u00e0 50 piges&nbsp;<\/em>\u00bb, r\u00e9sume Nicolas Auriault. Pr\u00e9cisant que \u00ab&nbsp;<em>l\u2019\u00e9quivalent de la Sacem locale est corrompu. C\u2019est pour \u00e7a que certains se sont r\u00e9appropri\u00e9s tout un r\u00e9pertoire en toute impunit\u00e9. Et puis, ces jazzmans n\u2019allaient pas revendiquer leur pays d\u2019origine, vu qu\u2019ils en \u00e9taient partis\u2026 <\/em>\u00bb. Un d\u00e9tournement culturel qui, selon lui, trouve son origine dans l\u2019\u00e9conomie pr\u00e9caire : \u00ab&nbsp;<em>La musique malgache reste un ciment social, mais n\u2019a jamais eu les moyens de rayonner. Ni m\u00eame d\u2019\u00eatre revendiqu\u00e9e&nbsp;! Les autres \u00eeles le savent et en profitent&nbsp;! Et puis, depuis 2009, le maloya est d\u00e9sormais inscrit au Patrimoine culturel immat\u00e9riel de l\u2019humanit\u00e9\u2026 Cela offre une plus grande visibilit\u00e9 (et cr\u00e9dibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019origine cr\u00e9ole), surtout depuis l\u2019\u00e9croulement de l\u2019industrie discographique \u00e0 Madagascar, dont les archives ont \u00e9t\u00e9 transf\u00e9r\u00e9es\u2026 \u00e0 La R\u00e9union.&nbsp;<\/em>\u00bb <span class=\"caps\">CQFD<\/span>.<\/p>\n<iframe title=\"Regis Gizavo - Malaso\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4yirdx9Ao9o?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Quant \u00e0 Jean-Claude Vinson, il va plus loin en donnant une explication plus\u2026 r\u00e9gionale&nbsp;: \u00ab&nbsp;<em>Les Hauts-Plateaux, o\u00f9 se situe la capitale Antananarivo et o\u00f9 est encore pratiqu\u00e9 l\u2019esclavage, sont tenus par la noblesse. Leur hantise, c\u2019est que la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9, tout comme les ressources mini\u00e8res, proviennent des c\u00f4tes\u2026 Or, ils n\u2019ont aucun int\u00e9r\u00eat \u00e0 donner de la visibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 des ethnies dont ils se sentent sup\u00e9rieurs\u2026 Ni ne veulent en \u00eatre d\u00e9pendant.<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb \u00c0 l\u2019en croire, cette attitude \u2013 encore perp\u00e9tu\u00e9e aujourd\u2019hui \u2013 serait un des h\u00e9ritages collat\u00e9raux de l\u2019\u00e8re coloniale.<\/p>\n<p>Le chercheur Julien Mallet nuance cependant. S\u2019il y a une \u00e9trange similitude entre le fait que Madagascar d\u00e9tient le record du pays africain ayant c\u00e9d\u00e9 le plus de terres aux investisseurs \u00e9trangers et ces fameux \u201cemprunts\u201c internationaux \u00e0 la musique malgache, la question des origines est infinie et reviendrait \u00ab&nbsp;<em>\u00e0 savoir qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 le premier de la poule ou de l\u2019\u0153uf<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb. Alors certes, il atteste de \u00ab&nbsp;<em>l\u2019<\/em><em>immense richesse culturelle, end\u00e9mique et sous-estim\u00e9e&nbsp;<\/em>\u00bb du pays. Pas de doutes. Mais lui pr\u00e9f\u00e8re plut\u00f4t parler d\u2019un \u00ab&nbsp;<em>rythme commun<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 l\u2019autre rumeur outre-Atlantique persistante&nbsp;: est-ce que les Malgaches ont invent\u00e9 le hip-hop&nbsp;? Sa r\u00e9ponse est d\u00e9finitive&nbsp;: \u00ab&nbsp;<em>Le hip-hop est am\u00e9ricain&nbsp;! Mais il existe \u2013 oui \u2013 un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de concordance ant\u00e9rieur qui se situe \u00e0 Madagascar\u2026 Cette musique, c\u2019est le jijy, une sorte de chant scand\u00e9 et traditionnel qui ressemble au rap. Sauf que si certains<\/em> <em>revendiquent ce miroir, c\u2019est surtout pour prouver une authenticit\u00e9 et\/ou s\u2019inscrire dans des codes \u201cblacks\u201c mondialis\u00e9s. <\/em>\u00bb<em>&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Pour le reste, s\u2019il acquiesce \u00e0 certains arguments \u00e9nonc\u00e9s, le chercheur tient cependant \u00e0 mettre en garde&nbsp;: \u00ab&nbsp;<em>En mati\u00e8re de musique, il ne faut pas r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir en termes d\u2019arbre g\u00e9n\u00e9alogique, mais en tourbillons d\u2019influences sans cesse renouvel\u00e9s et agr\u00e9ment\u00e9s. C\u2019est l\u2019industrie musicale qui a besoin d\u2019\u00e9tiquettes ! Une culture, elle, n\u2019a ni identit\u00e9 fixe, ni de propri\u00e9taire\u2026 Revendiquer l\u2019origine d\u2019un mouvement, c\u2019est proc\u00e9der \u00e0 des raccourcis et figer les choses. Or si une tradition s\u2019arc-boute, elle meure\u2026 Et puis chaque origine a une origine, non ? Donc, quelle est la limite&nbsp;?&nbsp;\u00bb&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Qu\u2019importe. M\u00eame tardive, Jean-Claude Vinson croit en cette future reconnaissance de la Grande \u00cele.
