The goal is to inform all linguistic communities on the ways to preventing the spread of <span class=\"caps\">COVID-19<\/span>. The campaign is also a way to fight the infodemic: all the disinformation and misinformation spreading alongside the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>The clip <em>Corona till\u00e9<\/em> (<em>Corona exists)<\/em> in Tamasheq by the band Ezza from Niger, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.auxsons.com\/en\/breves\/in-niger-a-video-clip-to-build-awareness-on-covid-19-and-how-to-limit-the-spread\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">spotted by #AuxSons on April the 1st<\/a><\/strong>, was sub-titled in French, Arabic, and English thanks to the <span class=\"caps\">UNESCO<\/span> campaign.<\/p>\n<iframe title=\"#DontGoViral:  \u201cCorona Till\u00e9\u201d by Goumour Ezza\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/aQLnemYtgQM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>High-level artists from all across Africa and the diaspora have joined the campaign, like Fally Ipupa, Timi Dakolo, Wale Turner, Stonebwoy, Reekado Banks, Les Fr\u00e8res Smith and Seun Kuti, Youssou N\u2019dour and Didier Awadi, amongst others. Seun Kuti and Les Fr\u00e8res Smith have won the first round of #DontGoViral prices in the category \u201cbest audio\u201d with their single \u201cNo Waiting\u201d.<\/p>\n<iframe title=\"#DontGoViral: \u201cNo Waiting\u201d by Les Fr\u00e8res Smith &amp; Seun Kuti\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xGUSjb669NE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Since its launch, the campaign has received more than 500 submissions from over 40 African countries.
