I selected these artists as I feel they best represent yesterday and today’s Indian music.

The playlist is composed of living legends, master musicians of classical Indian music, traditional folk music from Rajasthan and promenant upcoming performers, passing through the golden era of Bollywood to modern day Bollywood.

These artists are the guardians of our art and culture who, through live music and dance, keep the traditions of our country alive.
