#AuxSons est un webmedia collaboratif, militant et solidaire

Just published: Paris-London, the art of protest

Appropriated to the occasion of the Paris-London exhibition at the Musée de l’Histoire de l’Immigration, its magazine Men & Migrations, published a file that explores the connected history of relationships that the two Empire capitals have had with post-colonial migrations and show their effects on the militant and artistic scenes.

François Bensignor, journalist and musical columnist of the magazine, manages the portfolio of the file. His particular collection of vinyls presents a selection of artists over the three decades showed by the exhibition. The album covers, commented by the witnesses or specialists of this cultural history, attest to close and abundance of collaborations between several artistic disciplines.

Thanks to this anthology of records, we can see how much Paris and London have contributed to invent a « world sono » and to make it a key place for the musical scenes.
